​SA Hunters Buffalo Hunt competition 2025
Terms and Conditions:

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize, or any part of it, may not be exchanged for cash.

The prize, or any part of it, is not transferable to another individual.

The prize winner and his/her companion must adhere to all applicable Healthcare protocols required by the country to be visited.

Should Healthcare regulations or any other reason prohibit travel to destination country, the prize may be carried over to the next year at the discretion of the judges.

The prize winner and his/her companion must qualify and be able to obtain visas to visit the destination country for the hunt.

The prize winner and his/her companion will be required to sign indemnity forms prior to claiming their prize.

The animals to be hunted will be pointed out by the professional hunter and/or outfitter in charge of the hunt. No animal not nominated by the professional hunter and/or outfitter may be hunted. Representative animals of the species will be hunted with the focus on older post breeding animals. The trophy size of animals to be hunted cannot be guaranteed.

Entrants must be in possession of a valid passport with an adequate number of open pages by the date of the draw to claim their prize. The passport must be valid for at least another 6 months after the date of the hunt. Passport must be valid until end October 2025.

Entrants must be 16 years or older to participate in the competition.

By entering in the competition, entrants consent to receive marketing material in future from The South African Hunters and Game Conservation Association, SA Jagter/Hunter Magazine and via SMS and/or Email and/or WhatsApp.

Should the number of tickets sold not reach the set target by the closing date, the prize may be substituted by the organisers.

By entering the competition the winner and his/her companion consent to have their name/s published by SA Jagter/Hunter Magazine, SAHGCA newsletter and further consent to the publication of photographs, video material and information on the hunt to be used by the organisers at their own discretion.

The winner and his/her companion will avail themselves for an article to be written on the hunting experience and will consent to such article being placed, distributed, or sold as SA Hunters may deem appropriate.

Entrants and his/her companions are responsible for determining what documentation is required, as well as ensuring any such documentation including medical certificates, passports, visas, unabridged birth certificates are up to date and have been obtained before travel within the restrictions related to each country. it is recommended that travellers contact the appropriate embassy for accurate and up-to-date information.

Entrants and his/her companions are to ensure they have comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Once flights are ticketed, no name changes are permitted.

Checked Luggage: The Baggage Allowance on ALL routes is 21kgs.
