Tiger Fishing Competition Terms and Conditions

 

 

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

The prize, or any part thereof, may not be exchanged for cash.

 

The prize, or any part thereof, is transferable to another individual at the sole discretion of the organisers.

 

The prize winner and his/her companions must adhere to all applicable Covid-19 protocols.

 

The prize winner and his/her companions must qualify to visit Botswana and Namibia for the expedition.

 

The prize winner and his/her companions will be required to sign indemnity forms prior to claiming their prize.

 

Entrants and his/her companions must be in possession of a valid passport with at least 6 blank pages by 1 September 2024 to claim their prize. The passport must be valid until 30 March 2025.

 

Only SADC passport holders or permanent residents are eligible for the prize.

 

No temporary or emergency passports are permitted for travel.

 

Entrants must be 16 years or older to participate in the competition.

 

By entering the competition, entrants consent to receiving marketing material from the South African Hunters and Game Conservation Association (SAHGCA) and MAGNUM MAGAZINE via SMS and/or email and/or WhatsApp in future and will be subscribed to their respective contact lists.

 

Should the number of tickets sold not reach the set target by the closing date, the prize may be substituted by the organisers.

 

By entering the competition, the winner and his/her companions consent to having their name/s published by MAGNUM MAGAZINE and SAHGCA, and further consent to the publication of photographs, video material and information on the expedition to be used by the organisers at their own discretion.

 

The organisers may change the date of the expedition at their own discretion

 

Entrants and his/her companions are responsible for determining what documentation is required, as well as ensuring any such documentation including medical certificates, passports, visas, unabridged birth certificates are up to date and have been obtained before travel within the restrictions related to each country. Due to constantly changing border entry requirements,

it is recommended that travellers contact the appropriate embassy for accurate and up-to-date information.

 

Entrants and his/her companions are to ensure they have comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

 

Once flights are ticketed, no name changes are permitted.

 

Checked Luggage: The Baggage Allowance on ALL routes is 21kgs

Fishing excursions are limited to 1 tank of fuel per boat per day
